An experienced and highly dedicated physician from Sri Lanka with over 12 years of diverse clinical experience in emergency care, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, and general medicine, he has built a well-rounded career in both local and international settings, including the United Nations mission in South Sudan. He holds a medical degree from Rostov State Medical University, Russia, along with an MSc in Military Medicine from the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine, Sri Lanka.
